California Consumer Privacy Act Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”),

California residents have the right to request that we disclose:
• The categories of personal information that we have collected about you,
• The categories of sources from which personal information is collected,
• The business or commercial purpose for collecting or sharing information,
• The categories of third parties with whom we share personal information, and
• The specific pieces of personal information that we have collected about you.

Much of this information is provided in this Privacy Statement. You also have the right to request that we:
• delete any of your personal information that we collected from you,
• correct any inaccurate information, and
• not share your personal information with third parties.

You may submit a request in writing , or by calling (209) 274-4543. Please be aware, however, that the CCPA does not apply to most of the information that we collect and share in the normal course of our insurance business, such as information collected when you request a quote, purchase a policy or file a claim. We will be unable to delete or limit the sharing of such information, and we are not required to provide the disclosures itemized above with respect to that information. Other legal obligations may require or permit us to retain your personal information even if you request deletion. Kristi Roots Insurance Services does not and will not sell your personal information to others.

We cannot provide any information unless we are able to verify the identity of the person making a request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a CCPA request on your behalf, in which case we will require proof that the agent has been authorized. You have the right to be free from discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights under the CCPA.

With respect to consumer information collected or used by us that is subject to the CCPA, the following additional information is provided regarding information that we have collected and/or shared in the previous 12 months:
• Categories of personal information we have collected (as enumerated in Civil Code section 1798.140): Identifiers, Sensitive Personal Information, Benefits/Payroll/Security and Emergency Contact Information, Protected Characteristics under California and Federal Law, Geolocation Data, Internet/Computer/Other Similar Network Activity, Professional/Work-related Information, Non-Public Education Information, and Inferences Drawn from other Personal Information.
• Categories of sources from which personal information is collected: Most personal information is obtained directly from the consumer, including internal work history, company-owned devices, such as computers and mobile devices, but some information may be obtained from external sources such as consumer reports, previous work references, medical professionals, or tax, judicial, or governmental authorities.
• Categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information: To the extent necessary to maintain our employee or agency relationships and comply with legal obligations, we share information with financial institutions, consumer reporting agencies, payroll and benefit administrators, employee records administrators, legal representatives, government authorities as required by law, and in response to valid subpoenas and court orders.
• Business purpose for collecting and sharing personal information: We collect this personal information for the purposes of identification and evaluation, job application identification, job application evaluation, communications, payroll and benefit administration, security, and to comply with other legal obligations.
• Categories of personal information that we have shared or disclosed for a business purpose: As necessary to administer and maintain employee and agency relationships, we may share Personal Identifiers, Sensitive Personal Information, Benefits/Payroll/Security and Emergency Contact Information, Protected Characteristics under California and Federal Law, Professional/Work-related Information, Non-Public Education Information, and Inferences Drawn from other Personal Information.
